Security Officer, Bath

BardWood support services are now recruiting on behalf of our client for Security Officer?s working for a prestige contract in the Bath area. This position is a Temp to Perm position. Successful candidate?s will be required to search visitors on arrival, patrol the site, and report any incidents. Full training will be provided on site Duties * Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to * Provide security escort to all areas of the building as and when required * Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager * Always conduct yourself in a professional manner * Complete internal and external patrols, specifically reporting all faults and blocked fire exists as a priority * Respond to emergencies * Report security or safety issues to the site Supervisor * Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required * Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management * Carry out ID checks * Carry out searches of areas and persons in accordance with assignment instructions * Follow all reasonable requests from the Supervisor or Senior Management * Excellent communication skills to all levels ? verbally, written, phone and by security radio?s * Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative Key Skills / Experience * SIA Security licence, Frontline Security Guarding, Door Supervision * Experience of delivering excellent Customer Service * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Experience of working as part of a team or independently * Understand the Health and Safety at Work act Pay rate - £8.72 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday - hours may vary
