Workshop Controller and Assistant Manager Job Specifications Supervising a workshop, you will be responsible for overseeing and motivating a team of technicians on a day-to-day basis while carrying out your own technician role. You will be required to run an efficient and professional operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the maximum utilisation of workshop facilities and the efficient sale of parts and labour. You must have a proven track record of achieving success and experience of working in an aftersales environment. Our ideal candidate would be currently a skilled technician in a main dealer environment used to working with the latest light motor vehicle technology looking for the next step in their career, manufacture courses may be available to assist with progression. You will also be effective in people-managing and supporting colleagues, and have the drive and determination to maintain policies that constantly improve customer satisfaction and the Centre's reputation. You will be able to prioritise work while also identifying and maximising business opportunities. Be confident in taking control and managing technicians NVQ Level 3 Qualified in light motor vehicles MOT Tester Qualified would be ideal but not 100% essential MOT Tester Looking for an experienced MOT Tester with a successful track record in a workshop environment.
