Water Treatment Engineer - Greater Manchester

An opportunity to join a notable and expanding water treatment company known for providing specialist water treatment and legionella services to clients throughout the UK. The company is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Greater Manchester area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate their extensive experience performing routine water treatment duties including carrying out cleans, chlorinations and disinfections on Cooling Towers to temperature checks and water sampling. Applications from Stockport, Bolton, Salford, Oldham, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience: Applicants will come from a good chemical and technical background, ideally with a City & Guilds qualification. Experience working as a water treatment engineer. Good working knowledge of the Health & Safety regulations and the water treatment industry. Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. IT literate. Role: Refurbishments, cleaning and disinfections, cooling towers, water systems, tank cleans etc. Performing routine sampling, temperature checks, monitoring air and water systems. Must comply with the current Health and Safety legislation. Maintain professional relationship with clients. Assisting with evaporative cooling system cleaning. Remedial works relating to water treatment/hygiene. Requirements: The successful candidate will be flexible with a good work ethic.
