VAT Director, Manchester

A highly respected large Accountancy Practice is looking for an additional VAT Director to support their growing team in Manchester, paying c£100,000 - £120,000 plus up to 25% Bonus. This is a fanastic opportunity for an exisiting VAT Director looking for a fresh challenge in a larger Firm or an experienced Senior Manager who is ready for that step up.You will be joining a supportive regional team with strong links nationally where collaboration is second nature and you will eb able to choose a sector, gain a potfolio from day one that you can build upon and develop. VAT Director Responsibilities: Lead and deliver high-quality VAT advisory services across a broad and complex client portfolioWork closely with Partners and fellow Directors as additional senior headcount (not a replacement) Advise clients across Financial Services, Retail&Consumer, Public Sector, Customs&International Trade, and Environmental taxes Manage and grow key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor Play a key role in business development, identifying opportunities and converting warm leads Provide technical leadership and sign-off on complex VAT matters Coach, develop and mentor senior managers and wider team membersContribute to the strategic direction and growth of the regional VAT practice VAT Director attributes: CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Currently operating at VAT Director level or an experienced VAT Senior Manager ready to step up Strong technical VAT advisory background with exposure to complex projectsComfortable working across multiple sectors and client types Commercially minded, with an interest in developing business and growing a portfolio Collaborative, approachable leadership style Enjoys working in a flexible, modern professional services environment VAT Director Benefits:Salary:£100,000 - £120,000 base Bonus: Up to 25% Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the Manchester office Flexible working arrangements Warm projects and existing client portfolio on arrival Ability to specialise in a particular sector or VAT niche Supportive, collaborative senior leadership teamClear route for long-term progression within a large national practice If this VAT Director opportunity sounds perfect for you then APPLY NOW......
