Qualifications Required: Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification or higher

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Salary: £28,509 - £31,983 per annum

Location: St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School.

• Take a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to students.
• Work with groups of students under the supervision of the teacher, including the delivery of therapy and programmes of work and implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
• Manage the supervision of students excluded from, or otherwise not working to a normal timetable.

• Experience of working with children/young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Strong moral and ethical principles and values.
• Ability to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
• Openness to new ideas, commitment to teamwork and a good sense of humour.
• Act with the utmost integrity at all times.

• Enhanced DBS checks.
• Satisfactory references.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
