We are recruiting for an IT Systems Engineer to join our Networks and Infrastructure Team based out of our Head Office on Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire. The team provides a support to employees across the UK and we pride ourselves on delivering a first-rate service and deal with all aspects of Networks & Infrastructure. What you will be doing day to day Provide 3rd line support to agreed SLA's. Document our business processes and produce how-to documentation/videos Design, implementation, delivery and maintenance of infrastructure strategy and model to improve systems availability, performance, incident frequency and reduce cost. Maintain high availability of services through pro-active support. Provide and maintain an up to date inventory and configuration for all operational infrastructures, hardware, software, and software licenses including warranty information. Responsible for all Server solutions - both Virtual & Physical Creation and ownership of new server & File-share solutions (Virtual & Physical) Responsible for Veeam Enterprise & other Backup solutions Responsible for VMWare Virtualised solutions Responsible for Cisco UCS & NetApp Solutions Data Recovery & archiving to meet business SLAs Use of Manage Engine OpManager Network Management tool Ownership of UPS Solutions - Maintenance & reporting Problem and Change management Assist with populating the online ICT Knowledge base Assist with the Disaster Recovery testing and scheduling On-Site Engineering - Installing & maintaining solutions around the business, some out of hours work will be required.
