Job Title: Stores Operative Job Location: Sutton-In-Ashfield, NG17 Rates: Days - £8.72 Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30-16:30 (Friday 7:30-12 noon) 38.5hours a week Duration: 12 Weeks Temp to Perm Start date: ASAP JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The Supply Operative is responsible receiving deliveries, picking parts and dispatching all goods / products quickly and efficiently. Located in a modern business unit with its own private parking, you will be working sociable hours with early finishes every Friday. Essential Functions *Ensure Health and Safety of staff at all times and reporting concerns *Maintain a safe and clean working environment *Accurately booking-in of parts deliveries *Accurate and efficient parts picking from list *Responsibility for issuing correct material lists *Providing support for team members as required *To meet key performance targets to ensure efficiency and maintain standards *Meeting deadlines and targets set by the Store Team Leader *Relief delivery driver when required Required Education and Experience *Minimum of 2 years stores experience within a similar manufacturing environment *Good understanding of stores disciplines/ Health & safety standards *Basic computer literacy *Excellent attention to detail *Full and clean drivers license *Must have a positive, self-disciplined attitude, be able to think logically and communicate at all levels Work Environment This job operates in number of warehouse and stores areas. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/photocopiers. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job; mobility to navigate all workshop areas and offices and to use computer technology and operate equipment within the department.
