Anti Social Behavior Officer - Kent, Canterbury

Red Snapper Group are looking for to recruit an Anti Social Behaviour Officer to work on a temporary contact until the end of March based in Kent. Due to the current pandemic you will be able to split your time working between the office & home. Role * You will be the first point of contact for the victims of anti-social behaviour, as well as working closely with agencies such as the police and housing providers to deal with perpetrators. * Manage conflict well and enjoy partnership working. * Meetings with victims and perpetrators of anti-social behaviour. * You will have responsibility for managing a caseload of anti-social behaviour and neighbour nuisance complaints. * You will be required to keep detailed, accurate records and on occasion will provide evidence in support of court proceedings. * Provide advice on various aspects of ASB law in particular the ASB Crime and Policing Act * You will need to take professional witness statements from the housing officers, review CCTV, timelines and build the case files. Experience * Have thorough understanding of the Local Authorities' responsibility for Community Safety Partnership. * Have an understanding of how the Community Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (C.MARAC) works and experience of multi agency ASB case management. * Have an understanding of partnership working. * Have an understanding of trends in crime, disorder and incident hotspots/series across the partnership area.
