SEN Teaching Assistant, Broadstairs

We are currently seeking dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistants with experience of Autism, complex needs, challenging behaviour and PMLD. The School caters for primary aged students with high levels of Special Educational Needs. Are you passionate about supporting children with SEN / Special Educational Needs? SEN school that cater for children with high levels of learning difficulties. The ideal LSA / Learning Support Assistant will have a caring nature and will be passionate about providing outstanding care and support to children of mixed abilities. The schools are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and flexible to join their dedicated team. All applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children or adults with special educational needs / disabilities. Experience with personal care is also essential. The roles available are long term- permanent. The roles will include: Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation 1-1 work with students who require additional support Leading group work Helping the class teacher with pupil observations Manual Handling Personal Care Emotional Support Behaviour management and deescalations This is a role to start in September, so please apply ASAP
