RGN -Nights - Canterbury, Kent Our Client is recruiting for "Registered Nurse - Nights" located in Canterbury, Kent. A group of privately owned Care Homes provides Residential, Dementia, Nursing. This is Permanent role about for 40 hours a week, working 3 nights Shift over 7 day rota. Benefits: · Salary of £17.50/hour · A comprehensive induction and ongoing learning and development opportunities Main job and responsibilities: A RGN/RMN Night Nurse, you will manage a caseload of residents and will coordinate care, administer medications and lead a small team of Care Assistants in the delivery of personal care and support. Job descriptions such as: · Responsible of all nursing aspects of the daily operation of care delivery, in keeping with our person-centered care plans. · Support the Clinical Lead and Registered Manager in order to ensure that the Home complies with relevant Regulations & Legislations. · To control and give any medication as prescribed, following clinical guidelines and policy. · Mentor new nurses, care assistants and care leaders as required. · Assists in identifying and assessing the staffing requirements to meet service user. · Actively engage in identifying your own training/developmental needs and communicating these to the Clinical Lead, Registered Manager or Nurse Quality Manager. · To complete any audits as allocated by the Clinical Lead/Registered Manager · To ensure the NMC Code of Conduct is adhered to at all times, etc To be successful you must be: · NMC Registered Nurse ? Adult/RGN or Mental Health/RMN with both (both will be considered) · Ideally you have some experience in a UK nursing home setting or will have a keen interest in working in order people?s services. · Flexible to shift patters and able to adhere to a 7 day rota. · Confident managing care planning and medications. · Own Drivers Licence (would be an advantage) Interested?
