Bank Housekeeper, Tees Valley

You will be an integral part of the staff bank at a service for those who have long‑term neurological conditions where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitor areas.

Working closely with the maintenance team you’ll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and you can confidently deliver high‑standard cleaning services.

Pay: £12.85 per hour (including 12.07% pay uplift) and weekly pay.

You’ll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better.

As a Housekeeper you will be:

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• Being an active member of the team with a range of responsibilities in day‑to‑day operation.
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Helping create a positive culture.
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
• Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done.
• Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively.
• Be a good communicator.
• Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.

Where you will be working:

Location: Lower East Street, Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, TS2 1SW

You will be working at The Bridge, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide care and support for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.
