Job Title: Cleaner

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour

Contract: Permanent, Part Time

Weekly Contractual Hours: 9 (Tuesday to Friday – 5.30 AM to 7.45 AM)

Location: Cleveland Police, Community Safety Hub, 1 Cliffand Way, Hemlington, Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England, TS8 9GL

Note: Start date to confirm due to successful clear vetting.

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meets all agreed SLAs.
• Build knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, cleaning schedule and premises.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
• Complete all required training to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and take initiative as appropriate.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking continuous improvement.

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential.
• Flexible approach to the role.
• Open, honest, self‑driven and determined.
