Cleaning/Waste Operative - Night, Tees Valley

LOCATION: Darlington

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, 38.5 hours per week

PAY RATE: £13.44 per hour

ABM UK is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning/Waste Operative to join our night shift team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site, including effective waste management. You will play a key role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for all site personnel during night-time hours.

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
• Manage and segregate waste in accordance with site and environmental regulations
• Operate cleaning and waste handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly
• Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are maintained and stored correctly
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures at all times

• Experience in cleaning and/or waste management preferred but not essential; training can be provided
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours Lengthn
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours
• Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and health screening
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in industrial or commercial environments
