The Job you will do: Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performanceDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and carry out timely repairs Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and production disruption Conduct inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts usedFollow health and safety regulations and always ensure a safe working environment Install, test, and commission new equipment or system upgrades Work with tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals to complete tasks efficiently Collaborate with other departments, contractors, or engineers to resolve complex issuesManage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components About you: It is essential that you are a time served engineer, holding a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Ideally you will hold an 18 th edition qualification, however this is not essential. You will have a robust understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.It is essential that you can perform basic PLC fault finding. Flexible to work over the weekend if needed.
