One of the UK's leading Game Porting Houses are on the look-out for a talented coder, with strong C++ ability, to join their team on a remote contract basis.   The Company They are one of the most trusted porting houses in the UK, frequently working with studios such as Atari, Epic Games and Codemasters. Through utilising their own in-house technology their coders use their C++ skills to bring games to the Mac, PC and the Nintendo Switch.  C++ Game Coder This fantastic opportunity is all about your ability to work as remotely as a part of a wider team. You would work on the two exciting new projects that the company has in the pipeline and bring positvity and a driven attitude to the role. Essential Requirements Experience developing games. A full development cycle as a programmer or software engineer. C++ programming experience. Software engineering and debugging skills. Experience with current generation engines or proprietary engines. Desirable  Experience porting games Although the role is specific to the essential requirements, it must be stated that they are open to interviewing generalists coders with gaming experience.
