Band 8A£57,528 – £64,750 per annum Hours: 37.5 per week (flexible working considered) A new opportunity has become available in MKUH Pathology services. We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic individual to provide operational leadership for the Head of Pathology IT systems, working in collaboration across the South Four (S4) network.Responsibilities Provide first-line specialist Pathology IT support, including installation of relevant hardware and software, and escalation of these needs to the Trust IT team where appropriate. Provide first-line support for Winpath Enterprise, ICE Desktop, eCare, Microsoft 365, QPulse and other essential systems.Liaise with the S4 network to ensure standard approaches are undertaken in maintaining and supporting LISM across the network. Play an active role in ensuring readiness of CSU for MHRA and ISO 15189 inspections, including updating documentation, updating QPulse, initiating quality schemes, auditing, reporting, and communicating with all staff.Be responsible for Pathology Systems compliance with quality regulations, MHRA, ISO 15189, identifying gaps and escalating to the Quality Manager. Provide first-line IT support for the six departments within Pathology and their numerous essential systems; work directly with suppliers to ensure 24/7 provision of essential systems.Manage all IT assets across all departments, including ordering equipment and supplies. Read and understand IT policies and regulations, and advise management on changes required to maintain compliance. Plan changes to systems for IT compliance or upgrades.
