HGV Class 1 Driver, Newark on Trent

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tuxford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30am starts (average finish 6-7pm)Pay Rates: Class 1 PAYE:£15.77 per hour Class 1 Rolled Up: £17.67 per hour Class 1 ADR PAYE: £16.80 per hour Class 1 ADR Rolled Up: £18.83 per hour Location: Tuxford, NG22 Job Type : Ongoing with the potential for perm contract for the right candidate. The role: General haulage palletised goods (no food)Curtainsiders , tail lift&pump truck use Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to 20 drops/collections) Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures Ensuring safe handling of goods and maintaining high driving standards Requirements: Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experienceADR Packages licence preferred but not essential Must be 25+ (insurance purposes). Maximum 6 points no DD/DR/IN endorsements. Full understanding of WTD legislation. Strong communication&customer service skills. Happy with both commercial and residential deliveries.
