Roofer (Flat Roofs/ Single ply) £39,000 - £42,000 + Car + Company benefits Newcastle upon Tyne (Covering North East and North West England) Are you a Roofer looking for an opportunity to progress off the tools and into a Surveyors position where you will gain training on how to carry surveys across domestic and commercial projects? This is an opportunity for a Roofer to utilise there knowledge of installation projects for flat or single ply roofs where you can help provide technical advice, training and checking reports and measurements on site to help with quality and installation for varied construction projects. In this role you will cover North England and occasionally Scotland where you will attend a range of sites from national house builders through to large commercial developments to carry out site surveys to provide technical reports and assist with training on site. The Role: * Attend sites to supervise and survey roofing installation * Check technical drawings such as lay outs, schedules, itemised components, measuring falls, etc * Undertake onsite surveys * Covering client base across North East and West England The Person: * Roofer (flat or tapered roofing industry or similar) * Experience interpreting plans, specifications, and technical documents. * Familiarity with mastic asphalt, built up felt, single-ply and liquid waterproofing systems * Happy to travel Key words: Surveyor, Roofing, technical, construction, mastic asphalt, built up felt, single-ply and liquid waterproofing systems.
