Construction Plant Fitter, Newcastle upon Tyne

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Plant Fitter to work for our well established Newcastle based client. Our client is a construction plant manufacturer effectively looking for a Fitter to join their expanding operation. The successful candidate will be either an apprentice trained or a time-served engineer within the construction plant sectors. Most work will be carried out in their workshop, but you will also be required to work from customer premises on occasion. Knowledge of auto-electrics; engines, transmissions, hydraulics and pneumatics would be advantageous, as would be the ability to diagnose faults on construction plant such as excavators, backhoe lighters, telehandlers, light compaction machinery, etc. This is a great opportunity for a full-time permanent position working for an organisation with a growing reputation in their sector
