Senior Store Assistant (Keyholder) – Newcastle Scotswood Road

24 hours per week. We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

Responsibilities

You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, while also being hands‑on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves. Hard work and a positive attitude are more important than experience.

Provide outstanding service: always offer a great experience.

Ask the right questions to understand customers’ projects and help them find solutions.

Be proactive by promoting Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts.

Keyholder responsibilities: open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team, and provide short‑term supervisory cover when needed.
