An opportunity has arisen for a Temporary ongoingLogistics & Purchasing Administrator for our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk

As the Logistics & Purchasing Administrator your duties will include:

  • Issuing of dispatch notes, sales invoices, packing list & commercial invoices form and arrangement of other shipping documents such as certificates of origin, bill of lading as needed.
  • Working with suppliers to purchase goods and services managing purchase from start to finish. Including booking into system and advising relevant personnel of arrival.
  • Liaisingwith both internal team members and external customers and suppliers, by telephone and email.

An ideal candidate for the Logistics & Purchasing Administratorwill have:

  • Experience of working within an Import/Export Logistics role,Shipping both domestic and International packages, ensuring all goods and materials are classified in accordance with UK trade tariff codes
  • A proven knowledge of Customs Regulations
  • Experience within a purchasing role, with responsibility for raising internal paperwork for approval for all purchase orders.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
