This role provides the stability of a full-time schedule (Monday-Friday) while allowing you to maintain your status as a specialist consultant. Your Responsibilities
  • Academic Continuity: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that the scheme of work is followed and learning objectives are consistently met.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Take full responsibility for marking, tracking student progress, and providing detailed feedback to ensure data-driven improvement.
  • Classroom Authority: Establish immediate rapport with students, maintaining a focused and respectful environment through effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborative Integration: Attend departmental meetings and contribute to the wider life of the school, working closely with colleagues to share resources and best practices.
  • Exam Preparation: Support GCSE cohorts through intensive revision periods and internal assessments, utilising your subject expertise to boost attainment.
  • Pastoral Support: Often acting as a temporary Form Tutor, you will provide daily guidance and support to a dedicated group of learners.
