Recreation Assistant, Newport Pagnell

Midland Pool is seeking a full‑time, 40‑hour Recreation Assistant who will primarily lifeguard and will bring a lifeguard qualification. Duties include reception, opening and closing the building, cover management, pool plant monitoring, and other general responsibilities.

• Maintain health and safety of the centre at all times.
• Carry out cleaning duties and prepare activity areas for scheduled sessions.
• Store all centre equipment securely when not in use.
• Work alongside the Duty Manager, report concerns and conduct patrols.

• Lifeguard qualification (mandatory).
• Friendly, approachable manner and excellent customer‑service skills.
• Experience delivering first aid or similar duties is desirable.
• Previous experience in a similar role, including cleaning duties and equipment maintenance, will set you apart.
