Import Logistics Coordinator, Newport

Import Logistics Coordinator Newport Circa £20,000 Hatchlings Recruitment has an opportunity for an experienced Import Logistics Coordinator to join an established and growing logistics company based in Newport. You will be responsible for completing and submitting import documentation to enable cargo to move both within and outside the EU. Duties and Responsibilities will Include: * Obtain all required Import documentation and instructions from clients prior to the movement of goods * Accurate preparation and completion of EMCS Import documentation * Communicate effectively with clients, warehouse keepers, Hauliers and agents * Accurately calculate invoice sales * Prompt response to emergency situations * Updating and invoicing clients * Ensuring operating systems are kept updated * Completing customer care responses within the required timescale * Respond and deal with any internal and external account queries Skills and Experience Required * Experience as a Logistics Coordinator is essential * A working understanding of Import, HMRC and documentation is essential * Ability to work to strict timescales in a fast-paced environment * Reactive approach to dealing with unexpected problems * Highly motivated and able to work independently * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Able to demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail This advertisement is on behalf of our sister company, Hatching Recruitment based in Newport.
