Veterinary Care Assistant, Highweek

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our award-winning, family-owned Newton Abbot practice. You will assist all colleagues with clinical and non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care.

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

Part Time role working 30 hours per week. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 11am-7pm. We are offering a wage between £10.85 and £13.50 per hour.

• Clean theatre, instruments, and kennels - the clinical areas of the practice
• Answer phone calls
• Hold patients for the clinical team
• Package lab samples
• Work closely with Registered Veterinary Nurses to provide excellent in-patient care
• Receive full training

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Care Assistant is advantageous
