Cleaning Operative, Newtown

Solo Service Group is recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part‑time, permanent basis in DPP Newtown, SY16 1EN. We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to work approximately 10 hours per week (2 hours per day, Monday‑Friday). The successful applicant will be required to undergo Police Vetting. Pay: £13.45 per hour.

Your main duties will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning wash/shower rooms.

Other responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintaining Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensuring equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
• Handling any customer requests promptly and courteously.

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
• Reliability and responsibility with a flexible approach to work.
• Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary.
