Contract: Full-Time, Permanent. Earlswood Veterinary is a leading, RCVS accredited small animal veterinary hospital in Belfast. You will join a vibrant and enthusiastic team of receptionists delivering a high standard of client care throughout the client journey.
Role: Veterinary Receptionist

How you’ll make a differenceAs a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You will support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey. The role involves welcoming clients and their pets, answering telephone calls, booking appointments, handling dispensed medication and taking payments, along with daily administrative tasks. You must ensure the waiting area is clean and welcoming at all times. You will relay client queries to vets or nurses and respond to clients as needed. Client care is paramount with an emphasis on exceeding customer expectations throughout the client journey. Note: this role is not part of our Clinical Staff Team and does not involve working directly with animals.
Hours: This is a full-time permanent role. 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) between 8:15 and 19:30, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
