This position would suit someone already experienced in hospitality working in a similar role who is looking for a fresh new challenge.What we need from you: A minimum of 12 months experience working as a Duty Manager within hospitality or in a similar supervisory or management role Willingness to support and cover staff shortages at the additional site when required Experience managing a team with strong leadership and people-management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Strong customer service skills Excellent attention to detail A full UK driving licence is essentialWhat this role involves: Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the inn. Duties include, but are not limited to: Ensuring high standards of customer service and guest experience are consistently delivered Handling customer complaints, refunds and negative reviews professionallyMaintaining strong guest communication and interaction on site Developing and managing activity plans to maximise the value of facilities, including working towards agreed KPIs Monitoring operational costs and stock control Contributing to social media activity and content ideas Supporting on-site marketing initiatives to encourage repeat visitsEnsuring point of sale materials are maintained and merchandise is actively promoted Checking guest rooms, communal areas and grounds to ensure they meet agreed cleanliness standards Cashing up and ensuring till closures are completed accurately Leading and supporting operational teams, including conducting staff appraisalsSalary:£14 £16 per hour Hours of work : 3555 hours per week. Full-time hours between 11am 11pm, including weekends on a rota basis.
