Cook, Strikes Garden Centre, Northallerton

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Cook to join the team in our Coffee Shop in Strikes Garden Centre.

Competitive rate of pay: £13.01 per hour.

Hours for the role are 24 per week over 3 days. All positions include weekend working, so flexibility is a must.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for producing a range of meals and snacks from our menu. You will work as part of a small team under the guidance of the Coffee Shop Manager and be passionate about freshly prepared food served with the highest levels of customer service.

• Prepare fresh ingredients
• Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
• Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
• Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day
