Production Operative, Northamptonshire

We are recruiting for a Plastic Fabricator for a growing business based in the Brixworth area of Northampton. Salary: £8.72 - Per hour Daily Duties: Carrying out the manufacture of fabricated plastic materials to produce guards, shielding, point-of-sale and a variety of formed plastics. This will involve work such as; - Working from and interpreting technical drawings - Cutting and preparation using a variety of tools and equipment such as Panel Saw and Planing machinery - Bending and forming the product using methods similar to sheet metal work including plastic welding. - Then use of general hand-tools and workshop skills The Candidate: Whilst the business would prefer for candidates to have experience gained from within plastic fabrication, those with suitable cross-over skills would also be suitable. This may have come from experience gained through metal or wood fabrication such as carpentry or sheet-metal work. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate good workshop skills and the use of manufacturing equipment and or hand-tools.
