Field Service Engineer Northampton Forklift Trucks and Materials handling Equipment £26,000pa-£28,000pa + vehicle + overtime + benefits The company is a well-established supplier of forklift trucks and associated materials handling equipment and is the exclusive dealer for a global manufacturer of forklift trucks. As a result of planned expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a field service engineer to join the team in the Northampton area. As a field service engineer you will be based from home with a vehicle and will be required to attend customer site breakdowns across the Northampton region. Your main duties will include: Performing fault diagnostics on mechanical and electrical forklift trucks and related equipment. Service and repair of LPG, diesel and electric MHE. Conducting reactive and proactive maintenance. Accurate completion of job associated paperwork. Customer service. The ?ideal? field service engineer will have a background in the service and repair of forklift trucks, however, applicants with experience on any of the following will also very much be of interest, construction plant, powered access, agricultural machinery, industrial cleaning machines or municipal vehicles This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known local dealer and to forge a long term and progressive career.
