Engineering Manager, Towcester

My client was founded in 1988 and is a world leader in delivering cutting-edge solutions in defence and communications. The key to their success is designing all products in-house, emphasising long-term reliability and quality control. As the Engineering Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing a multi-disciplinary engineering team (Embedded Software, Hardware, Mechanical, Systems and RF). Additionally, the successful candidate will strengthen engineering processes and implement digital governance (including Jira), support and deliver approximately 6 active NPI or revenue-generating programmes a year (typically under 10), improve resource planning and execution to reduce team stretch, and ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Sales, Operations and Leadership.What we would like from the Engineering Manager: Bachelor's/Masters degree in engineering or equivalent in relevant subject (or equivalent work experience) A minimum of 5 years experience in an equivalent role Experience in defence or aviation, and/or knowledge of RF, embedded systems or electronics would be highly beneficialExperience of Project and Line Management in the defence or aviation industry Experience of reporting to Senior Management AMP, Prince2 or similar certification British Citizen or the ability to obtain the required security clearance What we offer the Engineering Manager: Salary up to£85,000 doe3% to 6% Annual Bonus Company Pension matched up to 5% Lifecover and Death in Service Private Healthcare Competitive annual leave Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 working from home) Educational assistance, leadership development programs, and recognition programs If this opportunity as an Engineering Manager is of interest to you, dont hesitate and get in touch asap!Click to apply or contact Luke Tanner at Orion Recruitment TPBN1_UKTJ
