Class 2 HIAB Driver - with FLT counter balance, Airdrie

Excellent opportunity Permanent position 29K -31K per year Class 2 HIAB Driver with FLT Counter balance Working Hours: 45 hours per week Based in Airdrie OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE To deliver and collect mobile products whilst adhering to delivery timescales and meet customer expectations. The role will include making the most effective use of load schedules with a balance against cost efficiency's for customers. Yard duties will be also form part of the role. WORK ENVIRONMENT & REQUIREMENTS This role will require extensive travel within a 200 mile radius of the central depot. It also includes outdoor working and as such, will require you to work in all different weather conditions incorporating health and safety requirements. GENERAL DESCRIPTION - TASK RELATED * Ensure stock control systems are accurate and fully auditable * Ensure yard organisation is maintained and meets health and safety standards * Complete accurate paperwork transactions * Ensure deliveries are made on time and in full; supporting and enhancing the customer experience * Maintain company vehicles in a neat, tidy and clean order * Follow health and safety training and requirements * Work as part of a multi-skilled team and cover other team duties as required * Carry out day-to-day work place risk assessments taking any appropriate action * Build effective relationships throughout the organisation with both colleagues and customers * Undertake any other reasonable duties as required in which you adequately trained to carry out SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING: Essential: * Full UK driving license * RTITB Fork Lift Truck licence * Class 2 licence * HIAB license * Basic numeracy and literacy qualifications * Basic level of computer skills * Health and safety awareness * Manual handling awareness PERSONAL SKILLS: Essential: * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues appropriately * Flexible with the ability to work on own initiative and to tight timescales * High level of personal and professional commitment * Open and honest approach * Positive work ethic * Committed to delivering the utmost service/support to the business and our customers * Reliable team player Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
