Duty and Assessment Social Worker, Shropham

We have opportunities available for a Social Worker within the Duty and Assessment Team at Shropshire Council. This is a temporary role for 3 months with potential to lead to a more long-term position. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. Responsibilities: * Work at a fast pace and produce high quality assessments within timescales. * Ability to initiate, draft & produce reports * To communicate effectively with client groups & professionals in order to assess client needs * To attend & organise case conferences & reviews for the purpose of assessing & monitoring the development of service users Preferably two years post qualifying experience working in a Duty and Assessment Team.
