Why this role matters

You'll play a pivotal role within our Retail portfolio, you'll help shape how we price intelligently, compete effectively and deliver outstanding value to customers, with telematics at the heart of our proposition.

You'll work at the centre of the business, partnering with teams across Trading, Finance, Claims, Risk and Analytics to turn insight into action. Your work will directly influence growth, profitability and customer value, ensuring our pricing and underwriting strategies remain both competitive and sustainable in a fast-moving digital market.

You'll lead the assessment of pricing initiatives before and after launch, using data and insight to refine strategy, challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement.

Just as importantly, you'll develop, coach and inspire a team of Pricing Consultants, building capability, embedding strong governance and ensuring regulatory and conduct excellence is woven through everything we do.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • A strong understanding of the UK general insurance market, ideally with exposure to telematics-based products
  • Proven pricing and underwriting expertise within Personal Lines
  • Experience coaching or developing others, with a collaborative, inclusive style
  • Strong commercial judgement, able to balance strategy, execution and customer outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, confident operating across functions and senior levels
