Housekeeping Assistant, Norwich

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare’s Mousehold View Care Home in Norwich, you will work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards in accordance with our standard operating procedures.

• Carry out all cleaning duties following worksheet instructions.
• Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and supplies, ensuring all areas are presented and well maintained.
• Treat all residents with dignity and respect, protecting their personal space and belongings.
• Maintain hotel service standards and uphold health and safety policies, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, especially Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH.
• Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high‑quality housekeeping/laundry services to residents.
• Adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

• DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
