Sub Agent - Highways Package - Norwich

A leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sub Agent to join our team on highway project in the Norwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a project that will improve the region's infrastructure and transportation network.

What You'll Do:

• Play a key role in the successful execution of the highways package, ensuring adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and safety standards.
• Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the earthworks team, including coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Oversee excavation, fill, and compaction operations, ensuring proper techniques, soil management, and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Maintain meticulous records of work progress and any issues that arise, including daily site diaries.
• Champion safety on the project, actively promoting a culture of awareness and enforcing the highest safety standards.
• Contribute to the successful completion of the project, meeting deadlines and achieving the highest quality standards.

What We Need:

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent on highway or road construction projects, with a particular focus on earthworks.
• Strong technical knowledge of earthworks techniques, soil mechanics, and construction materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing a team and collaborating with stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to achieving project goals on time and within budget.
• A strong commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards.
