Legal Cashier, Nottingham

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier for one of our impressive professional services clients based in Nottingham town centre. This exciting and challenging opportunity will be based in their Finance Team and will be reporting into the Senior Legal Cashier where you will have full autonomy of maintaining the client Ledger. The successful candidate will be self motivated, organised, works well under pressure, takes pride in their attention to detail, committed to doing a quality job, a problem solver and works well as part of a team. Duties & responsibilities: Daily banking, reconciliations and allocation of client funds Importing of the daily BACS receipts Preparing and executing transfers Efficiently filing all transaction paperwork Daily SAR compliance control checks Raising bills on matters. Inputting postings to the accounts system on a daily basis Making sure all process documentation is complete and up to date Paying suppliers and performing supplier statement reconciliations Supporting the operation of the department's credit control system Managing own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision Assisiting fee earners with queries Complying with SRA rules Experience Required: Practical Legal Cashier experience Legal cashier qualification Experience of using legal accounting software Excellent knowledge of accounting principles Conversant in IT Packages Working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules Demonstrate a commitment to personal developmentSalary is dependant on experience, normal office hours and it is a permanent role.
