Registered Manager, Children, Learning Difficulties, Nottingham Your new company You will be working for a company based in Nottingham, working with children aged 11-18 with learning difficulties. Your new role As a Registered Manager, not only is your duty of care to our children, but also to the team of adults working within the home. You will be taking part in a range of interesting recreational events, including holidays where appropriate and need the skills to create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times. You will need to provide and build structure, Consistency and organisation. You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people. Some children may require high levels of supervision and support and so you need to be able to adjust and create plans that work in their best interests What you'll need to succeed Essential Criteria A minimum of 1 years' experience in a role supervising and managing staff A minimum of 2 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare(England) Hold a Good or Outstanding within your recent Ofsted inspection What you'll get in return Excellent support and professional supervision as well as regular training opportunities.
