Legal Cashier, Nottingham

Astute Recruitment are partnering with a prestigious law firm in Nottingham to recruit a full time Legal Cashier to join their finance team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for supporting the finance team by completing the following duties: Responsibilities: * Making telegraphic transfers, foreign payments and BACS payments * Import BACS receipts each day * Posting payments to client ledgers * Completing SAR compliance checks * Issuing bills and statements * Issuing cheques * Resolving queries * General admin and ad hoc tasks to support the team Requirements: * Experience of working in a legal accounts team is essential * Knowledge of SAR (Solicitors Accounts Rules) * Confident with electronic payments, banking and cheque production In return they offer fantastic offices, a very stable and friendly team and competitive salary of £20,000 to £24,000 dependent on experience.
