Senior Production Operatives Nights Training Salary £19.5kpa, completed training salary from £24Kpa with OT premiums Shift Pattern:Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday - 6pm-6am / 7pm-7am Gi Group are hiring Senior Production Operatives for our prestige client to work for a well-established Food Manufacturing company, which is based in Nottingham. We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience working within a food/chilled manufacturing environment. High standards of hygiene must be observed and you will need to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for yourself and your colleagues around you at all times. Food Safety is paramount and you will be required to ensure all products meet quality and customer specifications. Duties for Senior Food Production Operatives will include: * Accurate completion of relevant paperwork in line with Traceability * Ensuring all Food Legislation, Health & Safety and Company standards are achieved, applying the correct discipline and taking corrective actions if necessary * Responsibility for working as part of the production team, to produce products to specification. * Ensuring all staff in your area are trained and developed in line with Company policy and standards * As a Senior Food Production Operative there will be additional specific responsibilities within the area (Quality/CCP/Dragging Heavy Racks/Filling the oven,etc) * Work in other areas of the factory as and when required. In return: * Great working environment * 3 x half hour breaks * Weekly pay * 4 on 3 off * Competitive rates of pay - £11.01 up to £19.29 - £8.96 per hour whilst on training * Overtime - after 42 hours The ideal candidate will have experience in a food manufacturing environment in a similar position and have an understanding of food legislation. Being flexible and reliable the right candidate will also have a pro-active approach to carrying out work activities. You must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and be comfortable working with all types of food including meat and dairy products.
