Paint Line Manager, Nottingham

Job Title: Paint Line Manager Location: Nottingham Duration: Permanent Salary: £28k - £32k p/a (DOE) Production & Planning *Co-ordinate with planning all painted work & completion thereof. *Monitoring all WIP. *Monitoring staff attendance, holidays, sick late etc. *Co-ordinating overtime and holidays with planned work loads *Checking Staff overtime/shortages for payroll. *Interviewing, hiring and setting pay levels for staff. *Conducting of shift briefs. *Shift hand overs & on call at weekends for shift support. *Training of all staff for department. (Including powder coating / Booth Maintenance and cleaning and all associated TPM / PPM on powder coating plant. *Helping with all aspects of production on a day to day basis. *Monitoring plant & Pre-treatment. Additional checks to and as well as Shift Managers. Maintenance *Working with and co-ordinating suppliers to maintain & service all equipment on paint line including emergency call out of engineers when plant down. Tank Cleans , Pipe descales. *Working with & support for Maintenance when working in paint line. *Log all maintenance issues. *On call when off duty 24/7 for maintenance/emergency call out for plant issues. *Advising on specification and purchasing of plant and machinery on paint line. Finding key suppliers and negotiation. Stock Control & Purchasing *Implementing stock control & purchasing systems of all stock & consumables. Finding key suppliers and negotiation to get the best service, prices and quality. *Monitoring stock levels and triggering purchasing including all paint and pre-treatment chemicals *Checking all new orders & purchasing powder & consumables required for jobs. Sales & Estimation *Assisting estimation with quoting. *Creating quote templates & working with IT on new software. *Assisting sales with leads, Customer visits and technical support *Customer support/ dealing direct with paint only customers (DHM, Donfabs, ARP, ES Solutions, RD castings) *Customer price reviews Technical & Quality *Technical support & advice to Customers & creating in house best practice.
