School Premise Officer, Nottingham, Ongoing Temporary During these challenging and difficult times Hays Education are continuing to work as normal to provide high levels of service to our candidates and clients. Whilst schools are currently closed or working with a vastly reduced skeleton staff and are not necessarily recruiting right now, once they reopen they will need additional support. I am looking to register School Premises Officers/Caretakers to be available for when schools are back up and running. Your new role You will be working in the school service department where you will be responsible for the maintenance and security of the school's premises and site ensuring a safe environment. Hays offer flexible rates of pay depending on your experience and the type of work you are looking for. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience of working within a school environment is ideal with knowledge of policies and procedures for security, alarm systems and health and safety. You will also need to be able to carry out minor repairs, DIY duties, manual handling of deliveries and key holding as well as having the ability to manage your own work load. You'll need to be able to demonstrate good self-organisation skills as well as a strong work ethic that can make a sustained impact on site management.
