Forest Care Selection is working in partnership with a Regional provider, who offer bespoke care packages to a range of young people with extensive or complex needs. They have an exciting new job opportunity for a Registered Children's Home Manager to join their team based in the Nottinghamshire area. As the Registered Children's Home Manager, you will take charge of a 3-bed residential home, which aims to offer young people outstanding care and education within a therapeutic environment. The Registered Children's Home Manager will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, ensuring that the quality of care provided is consistent in line with company and Ofsted standards. The Registered Children's Home Manager will be a confident leader and will lead from the front in building a competent, motivated staff team. They should be able to identify any areas of concern in relation to child protection and should be experienced in liaising with local authorities, schools and external health professionals. The Registered Children's Home Manager will ensure that each child within their care, receives a personalised care plan in line with their education, social, emotional and cultural needs. They will also work with various professionals in ensuring that each child develops to their full potential. Furthermore, The Registered Children's Home Manager will take the lead in recruitment, training and inducting new staff members. Candidates wishing to apply for the Registered Children's Home Manager role, will need to have a minimum of QCF Level 3 in children & young person's workforce. Candidates should also have gained previous experience working at a senior level supporting young people up to the age of 18, preferably with EBD. Excellent knowledge of care standards, including child protection is also essential.
