Financial Accountant (6 Month Contract) Location: Nottingham (Hybrid) Salary:£50,000–£60,000 A leading organisation based in Nottingham is seeking a Financial Accountant to support business-as-usual finance operations during a period of system transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a collaborative finance team on a 6 month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.Key Responsibilities: Perform reconciliations to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting Manage quarter-end reporting processes for both UK and US entities Work with large volumes of data, primarily using Excel Support the implementation of a new finance system where capacity allowsKey Requirements: Strong Excel skills, confident handling formulas and large datasets Solid experience with reconciliations and general ledger processes Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is advantageous Background in a complex finance environment (e.g., regulated or multi-entity) Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred, though not essentialAdditional Information: Hybrid working mode Generous holiday allowance, including additional company-recognised leave days If you're a hands-on accountant looking for a dynamic contract role in a supportive team environment, we'd love to hear from you.
