Are you passionate about animal care and looking for a rewarding role supporting frontline policing? Nottinghamshire Police is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Kennel Personto join our professional team responsible for the care and welfare of our working police dogs.

This is a physically demanding role that requires resilience, initiative, and the ability to work independently. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining the health, hygiene, and wellbeing of our canine colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily care and husbandry of police dogs, including feeding, cleaning, and exercising
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in kennel areas
  • Monitoring dog health and reporting concerns to handlers or veterinary staff
  • Supporting operational readiness of the Dog Section

Vetting and Eligibility

Vetting Level – Recruitment – you must have resided in the UK for at least the last 3 years, with less than 12 months spent abroad (some exceptions for those living on a UK military base).
