PMLD and SEN Teaching Assistants - Nuneaton

PMLD and SEN Teaching Assistants - Nuneaton GSL Education is currently looking for a passionate and experienced primary SEN teaching assistant specialized in PMLD to work in a thriving primary school in Nuneaton. It is a day to day basis short term contract. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of professionals to provide tailored and specific support for young people who have additional requirements in either academic or communicative development. A large part of this role is relationship and stability building for the young person. We are particularly keen to speak to those who have experience supporting students with varying SEN requirements. The successful candidate will be: · The ideal candidate must have training in personal care, moving and handling, team teach and ASD, PMLD experience · Providing 1:1 behavior support to a primary pupil with extremely challenging behavior · Managing and implementing appropriate structures for SEN children · Acting like a positive role model and providing nurture support · Providing numeracy and literacy booster sessions out of the classroom · De-escalating heightened and volatile situations.
