Field Service Engineer- Installation, Oxford

Responsibilities: * Reporting to the Senior Project Manager. * You will provide your engineering expertise to the installation, de-installation and relocation of high-volume, critical analysers (for Blood Science, Molecular and Tissue diagnostics solutions). * Our clients solutions range from medium- to large-sized solutions and cover key NHS, University and private service providers. * The position requires significant travel across the UK, and, less frequently, to Ireland and Agency countries (Cyprus, Malta, Iceland and Israel). Person Specification: * You are ideally located in the South/Central England and will cover the South/Central England installations whenever possible (whilst remaining flexible to cover the rest of the UK and Ireland as required). * You are an ambitious and motivated, qualified field engineering professional with experience of high-value capital equipment. * You will be qualified to an HNC/HND level or above in electronics. A relevant science subject would also be desirable but not essential. * We are seeking an Engineer with 3+ years of experience within one or more of these industries: biomedical engineering, industrial engineering * Preferably, for the Specialist role, you will have significant field service experience in pathology practices, particularly in automated laboratory pathology systems and associated data management systems. * Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate the following technical skills, knowledge and attributes: * A promoter of teamwork, keeps oneself and others on target, able to lead installations on-site to a successful go-live * Applies strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a logical and process-driven mindset, and ability to manage personal time * Quick learner with innovative and continual improvement mindset * Experience of "on-site" customer facing engineering support * Proven track record of troubleshooting experience * Good working knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems and information technology * Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and web delivery tools * A valid driver's license and indefinite rights of working in the UK are required Package: * Bonus * Contributory Pension Scheme * Lunch allowance daily (during field trips) * Company Car or Company Car allowance * 25 days' holidays
