Street Lighting Electrician, Oxford

We are leading highways infrastructure contractor and are part of the global Bouygues Construction Group. We are looking for an experienced Street Lighting Electrician to support our Oxford project delivery team. The role will involve supporting projects across the City which ranges from the installation of LED Street Lighting columns and the maintenance of existing assets. The role: * To terminate, joint and test lighting and power cables * To complete and submit test certificates * To diagnose and repair fault of equipment and networks * To test and inspect highway electrical installation * To install and maintain street lighting equipment ? lanterns, fitting and associated equipment * To ensure company vehicles and plant are maintained in good working order and are clean and tidy * To adhere fully to Health & Safety responsibilities * Working away from home (UK wide) during working week will be required The person: * Electrical qualification 236 parts 1 and 2 to 17th edition of BS7671 is essential * Qualified for testing to 2391 or equivalent * Ability to work to deadlines and flexibility with working hours * A team player * Experience of fault finding on underground networks * HERS registered electrician - desirable * HEA electrical qualifications ? desirable In return, we offer an attractive salary, company shares and other additional benefits, including training opportunities
