Description
If you're good at spotting the difference and take note of the detail, you could be our Assistant SHEQ Compliance Manager. Our Compliance Manager needs an assistant to support in the task of overall SHEQ management at our ever-growing company. The Compliance Manager?s primary role is to ensure the company is always legally compliant and working safely. We are looking for someone with some qualifications in health and safety, (NEBOSH General Certificate) or experience in health and safety with a willingness to attain this qualification. The right ?can-do? attitude and other personal attributes, like having a meticulous and practical nature, are equally crucial characteristics to the person required for this role. Experience relating to the construction industry would be an advantage. You would be supporting the quotes and projects teams with tender submissions and client compliance. Examples of such tasks are the completion of questionnaires, providing supporting evidence of the company?s good standing, assessing our supply chain partners and sub-contractors to ensure they meet our standards, researching information and carrying out investigations, reviewing legislation and completing risk assessments, reviewing company documentation and policies and ensuring accurate record keeping is maintained in line with the ISO 9001 quality standard and Zetica?s internal policies and procedures. You will help with the document control tasks and delivering internal H&S training as well as ensuring the right safety standards are in place at our primary premises and on site. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and will have experience with uploading and managing information on customer portals. You will need to be self-motivated, methodical, organised, conscientious, thorough, with a keen eye for detail and have excellent written and spoken English. You will be expected to contribute constructively to our working systems, as well as be approachable and sociable. This will not always be a 9-5 job and some flexibility is essential. Your level of responsibility may increase over time as the role has potential to grow. Salary band on a pro rata basis is £ 22,000 to £ 25,000.
